Elizabeth Bell, a resident of Ben Hur Home, celebrated her 99th birthday. She was born Nov. 14, 1920, to Ben and Mary Miller in a house on Union Street built by her grandfather.
She married Warren G. Bell of Alamo on Oct. 17, 1941. She has four children, Mariana Threlkeld, Marilyn Bell and Greg (Martha) Bell of Crawfordsville and Gerald (Barbara) Bell of Urbana, Illinois. She has four grandchildren, Jason Bell of Urbana, Erin Bell Wike of Austin, Texas, Christian Threlkeld of Alexandria, Virginia, and Kathleen Bell of Alexandria. She also has four great-grandchildren, Paige, Abbi, Katie and Nate and a great-great-grandson, Payton.
