On Monday, the Parke-Vermillion Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #167 presented a $1,000 donation to the Parke Heritage Middle School Cheerleaders. The Parke Vermillion FOP Lodge has a mission to support law enforcement, emergency services, and youth programs throughout Parke and Vermillion counties in Indiana. The donation will assist the cheerleaders in attending a three-night, four-day UCA Cheer Camp at Purdue University in June. At camp, the cheerleaders will receive private coaching, attend safety seminars, create new routines, and bond as a squad. As well as having the experience of being on a college campus. The cheerleaders have helped the FOP with different activities which include their buggy ride, and their steak night. They will be helping out with decorating and serving refreshments at the high school dance as well as a few other events planned to help the FOP in the near future. Cheerleaders and FOP members include, front row, Hailey Bonomo, Arielle Hartman, Kenadie Cooper, Ashlyn Bryant, Emma Patton, Kenleigh Berry, Abbi Bonomo, Devin Jones and Madi Atkinson; and back row, FOP President Josh Milbourn, FOP Vice President Chris McCann, FOP Treasurer Jeff Ramey and PHMS Cheer Coach Tracey Stone.
