It’s an especially happy new year for one Williamsport couple.
Their baby boy was the first baby of the new year at Franciscan Health Center for Women & Children in Lafayette.
Westyn Church was born at 12:37 a.m. Monday, Jan. 1, 2024. He is the son of Michayla Hubner and Cody Church. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces.
For being the first baby born at Franciscan Health Lafayette East, the family received a gift basket of baby-related items from the Franciscan Health Auxiliary Lafayette and the hospital gift shops.
The baby was delivered by Brittany Sherron, MD an OB/GYN with Franciscan Physician Network Obstetrics & Gynecology.
