Grimble receives INFBPW Working Woman award

Posted

Montgomery County Councilwoman Joyce Grimble was awarded the INFBPW Working Woman of the Month Award on Nov. 7.

Earlier this month, Mayor Todd Barton signed a proclamation declaring that November was Working Women’s Month. This proclamation honors all working women for their accomplishments and recognizes their services to the community. The month is dedicated to these women who represent all phases of employment. It is the club’s honor to have Grimble as a mentor and friend.

Grimble shared insight as to what her position entails and her background with club members. She is a Purdue University graduate and has held leadership positions on several alumni boards, including the Purdue Council on Agricultural Research, Extension and Teaching.
