The Montgomery County Health Department announced Monday six additional confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total lab-confirmed cases to 227 since the first case was recorded in March. The MCHD also confirmed one deaths, bringing the total number of fatalities in Montgomery County to 17 overall deaths.
Contact investigations by the Indiana State Department of Health are underway in connection with the new cases.
