Zach Hockersmith, assistant vice president/controller at Hoosier Heartland Statet Bank, is celebrating 10 years at the bank.

“Zach has been a great asset to Hoosier Heartland State Bank,” said HHSB President Brad Monts. “He has been an integral part of our growth over the past decade. He continues to grow professionally and embodies our mission, vision and values. We are excited to celebrate his 10 years and look forward to many more.”

Hockersmith joined the HHSB team in 2010 after graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University with degrees in finance and economics. Last year, he was promoted from assistant vice president of retail sales to his current role as assistant vice president/controller, where he assists in financial reporting, profitability and balance sheet management.

He and his wife Casey are life-long residents of Montgomery County. They have been married for 10 years and reside in Crawfordsville with their two sons, Hudson and Camden.

In his spare time, Hockersmith enjoys the outdoors, being with family, golfing and working on home projects. He also serves on the Montgomery County Medical Care Trust advisory board, MCUF board and Purdue Extension board.
