Janet Edris Campbell was born Dec. 8, 1938 and was called home in her sleep on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, at the age of 84.
Janet was such a caring and accomplished woman. She was a proud alum of DePauw University, where she earned her master’s degree in music. She spent her life helping others and serving her Lord. Over the course of her life, she served as a probation officer, a school teacher, a church choir director at Wabash Ave Presbyterian Church, a music teacher and a church pianist.
She is survived by her two sons, David “Scott” (Angela) Campbell and Daniel (Terry Grabill) Campbell; grandchildren, Kayla, Freya and Sharlene; as well as her good friend, Ron Carr; and numerous great-grandchildren and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and grandchildren, Dylan Campbell and Wendy Hudakoc. She will forever be in our hearts.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 at Christ Lutheran Church, 300 South Blvd., Crawfordsville.
