Athenian golfers win on road
The Crawfordsville girl’s golf team picked up a pair of wins on the road at Turkey Run Golf Course Monday evening.
The Athenians fired a 217, while Parke Heritage shot a 223, and Attica a 259.
Bailey Mittal led Crawfordsville with a low-score of 46. Evie Redding shot a 52, while Gerogia Kincaid fired a 55. Sadie Walker had a 64, while Gwen Redding fired a 67.
Chargers win again
The North Montgomery girl’s golf team won yet again on Monday via a fifth-score tiebreaker after tying with Greencaslte 229-229 at Rocky Ridge.
Chloe Maxwell fired a 53, while Morgan Swick shot a 57, and Abbie Horn a 59. Grace Littell shot a 64, and Ella Sultz a 66. Grace Shrader fired a 60, and Maggie Yeager a 66.
Cville volleyball opens season with win
The Crawfordsville volleyball team kicked off the season with a 3-1 (19-25, 25-13, 25-7, 26-24) at Sheridan on Monday.
