Mounties fall to Tigers

The Southmont baseball team dropped a Sagamore Conference contest 14-0 at home to Lebanon on Thursday. 

Nick Scott and Trip Ward had the lone hits for the Mounties.

Mustangs fall to Gophers

The Fountain Central baseball team fell 13-0 to Clinton Prairie on Thursday night.

Carson Eberly led the Mustangs with two hits.

Lebanon downs South

The Southmont softball team suffered a Sagamore Conference setback 9-2 to Lebanon on Thursday.

Macie Shirk, Chelsea Veatch, and Marissa Craig led the Mounties with two hits apiece.

Chargers fall to Red Devils

The North Montgomery boys’ golf team lost to West Lafayette 174-219.

Hayden Turner and Alex Chapman led the Chargers with rounds of 48. Thomas Fritzen fired a 61, Colin Campbell a 62, Jacob Hughes a 64, Haze Kashon 65 and Landon Birge a 68.

Athenians fall to Raiders

The Crawfordsville girls’ tennis team fell 4-1 to Harrison on Thursday.

Samantha Rohr picked up the lone Athenian win 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles over Melannie Madson. Lauren Hale lost 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles to Emma Gru, while Hannah McLean fell to Wesley Bradley 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.

The duo of Cathleen McGrady and Ella Hudson lost 6-0, 6-1 to Katie Irr and Snena Maniknandan, whil Lilly Klingbeil and Elyse Widmer lost 6-3, 6-1 to Hannah Koutsouros and Maddie Ross at No. 2 doubles.
