Mary Virginia (Ratcliff) Campbell, 92, of Hillsboro and formerly of Anderson, Indiana went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020.

She was born April 1, 1928, at Kingman, to the late Ross Ephlin and Maxine (Glascock) Ratcliff.

Mary graduated from Kingman High School and Dec. 25, 1949, she married Robert Walter Campbell, who preceded her in death Jan. 29, 2008. She grew up in Kingman, lived most of her life in Anderson, and lived with her son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Machel Campbell in Hillsboro for the past few years. She was a loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed singing and playing the piano, listening to gospel music, watching basketball and baseball, crocheting, and she loved to win and hated to lose!  She was a member of Park Road Church of God in Anderson. 

She is survived by two sons, Ned (Robin) Campbell of Muncie and Gordon (Machel) Campbell of Hillsboro; three grandchildren, Pacia (Derrick) Campbell-Ogilvie, Adrienne (Adam) Searcy and Adam (Kate) Campbell; three great-grandchildren, Max Ogilvie, Noelle Searcy and Nolan Searcy; her twin sister, Martha Ziegler; her brother, Edward (Martha) Ratcliff; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and an infant son. 

There will be a private family viewing at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10 at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S. First St., Kingman, with a public graveside service following at 2:30 p.m. at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. Social distancing is expected and masks are required.
