The Linden Depot Museum invites the community to the Midwest Railroad Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 8 at 520 N. Main St., Linden. This year, admission, train rides and food will all be offered free of charge.
Visitors can ride the 1837 replica Norris 4-2-0 steam engine, tour the restored Nickel Plate caboose, enjoy live entertainment from a nationally recognized Johnny Cash tribute artist, and share a free meal featuring bratwurst, sauerkraut, a pretzel, and a drink.
Train rides are free, but reservations are still required because space is limited. To reserve a train ride, call 765-427-3630.
The museum welcomes railroad enthusiasts, families, and community members to enjoy a full day celebrating railroad history, food, music, and fun.
