Thanks & More

Mountie Mission offers gratitude

Posted

The Mountie Mission had another successful 5K fun run/walk. But we couldn’t have done it with out the help from some amazing people and sponsors. We would like to thank, N Heat Design (Bob Stull) for making our shirts. The Southmont cheerleaders for cheering on the runners and walkers and passing out the water. The Ladoga Fire Department for helping the runners and walkers cross the streets. Thanks to the amazing sponsors for our shirts: Muse Heating & Air, Ladoga Pizza King, Achaius Ranch, Ladoga 66 Marathon, Jessica’s On Main, Stull’s Machine Shop, HHSB, J.M. Thompson Insurance, F. C. Tucker - Chad Hess, LakeSide Book Company, Timothy H. Wall, PC, Municipal Civil Corp., Nucor, Ladoga Dollar General, Stull’s Body Shop, Moody Meats and Perry’s Alignment Plus.

And thanks to Ace Hardware for the raffle prize.

All the proceeds went to our Back To School project. We provided new clothes, backpacks and supplies to 111 kids, which is 53 families. We gave out 398 shirts, 123 pairs of jeans, 76 pair of leggings, 40 shorts, 78 pairs of shoes, 318 pair of underwear, 427 pairs of socks, plus dresses, hoodies, sweats, sweatpants, skirts, lunch boxes, books and bras.

Thank you very much for helping us to make all of this happen.
