Mr. and Mrs. Don and Elizabeth (Hockersmith) Simpson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on March 10, 2022. Don and Liz (as some affectionately know her) were married on March 10, 1972, at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Crawfordsville, with a reception following at the home of Austin and Lucille Simpson, in New Market. Interestingly, Don and Austin were brothers and Elizabeth and Lucille were sisters.
Don and Liz have been long-time members of Eastside Baptist Church. They lived many years on their farm outside of the Waveland/Browns Valley area before moving to Crawfordsville.
Don and Liz have numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A private cake and punch celebration will be held with family, due to COVID.
