Scott and Sharon Parker, New Ross, announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassie Parker, to Brian VerVaet II. He is the son of Brian and Maureen VerVaet, South Bend.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Southmont High School class of 2011. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in biomedical engineering. She is employed as a clinical specialist with Cook Medical.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Marian High School class of 2011. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in computer science. He is employed as a Network Consulting Engineer at Cisco Systems.
The couple reside in Florence, Kentucky, and plan to exchange wedding vows Sept. 25 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
