Patricia “Pat” Olinger, 78, of Lake Holiday passed away Monday night, March 4, 2024, at home.

Pat worked at Cummins’ and Horner’s car dealerships as an accountant. She later volunteered and worked at the local women’s shelter. She was a proud member of Christ Lutheran Church. She liked to bowl in local leagues, play cards with friends, do crossword puzzles and learn new things.

Born Aug. 30, 1945, at Hopkins, Minnesota, she was the daughter of “Bud” Sjoberg and Ruby Mae Presley Sjoberg. She graduated from Chamberlain High School in Tampa, Florida and later took college courses at Purdue University.

Surviving family includes: sons, Gary (Monica) Olinger of Ladoga and Joe (Tina) Olinger of Texas; 11 grandchildren, Ryan (Nicole) Olinger, Curtis Olinger, Brandon (Trista) Olinger, Britny (Shane Worth) Olinger, Myranda Olinger, Kelly Jo Olinger, McKinley Olinger, Keaghan Olinger, Mason Olinger, Logan (Meghan) Olinger and Race (Audrey Loomis) Olinger; nine great-grandchildren, Izacc, Braxzin, Blaize, Carter, Karmyn, Aneli, Remington, Jordan and Jackson; sister Wendy (Henry) Drumwright; and brother Michael “Rocky” Sjoberg.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son Darin Olinger.

A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, March 10 at Christ Lutheran Church, 300 W. South Blvd. Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
