North Montgomery defeated visiting Delphi 5-0 on Wednesday.
Winning for the Chargers were No. 1 singles Carter Thompson 6-0, 6-0 and No. 2 singles Elliott Allen 6-0, 6-0. No. 3 singles Cash Cole won 6-3, 6-0.
In doubles action, the No. 1 doubles team of Kohen Bonebrake and Piersyn Joyce won 7-5, 6-0 and No. 2 doubles team of Owen DeSmet and Kaden Grundy won 6-0, 6-1.
The Chargers (4-6) played Thursday at Greencastle.
Patriots beat Mounties
Seeger shutout Southmont 5-0 on Wednesday.
Mountie No. 1 singles Eden Hernandez lost to Prestyn Foster 2-6, 1-6 and No. 2 singles Ethan Hutchison lost to Macy Hughes 0-6, 0-6. No. 3 singles Mason Clouse was defeated by Hayden Richey 1-6, 1-6.
The Mountie No. 1 doubles team of Andrew Bedertcher and Ben Gurele lost to Jack Odle and Zachary Reynolds 0-6, 0-6. In the No. 2 doubles match, Job Bradley and Owen Grimes lost to Cayden Grimmett and Jack Cole 0-6, 0-6.
The Mounties played Thursday at South Putnam.
Mustangs beat Wildcats
Fountain Central defeated South Vermillion 4-1 on Wednesday.
Winning for the Mustangs were No. 1 singles Ayden Batchelor over Blake Buckingham 6-0, 6-1 and No. 2 singles William Armstrong over Carter Allen 6-0, 6-0. No. 3 singles Hayden Hargrave beat Norton Newcomb 6-1, 6-0.
The Mustangs No. 1 doubles team of Aidan Blankenship and Eli Sowder beat Brayden Crim and Henry Stateler 6-2, 6-4.
South Vermillion’s No. 2 doubles team of Cam Lemmons and Rylan Wright defeated Preston Oakley and David Current 6-1, 7-6 (4).

North beats South
North Montgomery defeated Southmont 183-200 on Wednesday at the Crawfordsville Country Club.
Charger scores were medalist Marlee Reed 41, Hadlie Horn 45, Chloe Arnold 45 and Izzy Hamby 52.
Mountie scores were Madi Biddle 47, Maggie Gilliland 49 and Lanie Ramsey 51. Addison Kendricks and Kaycee Perez each carded a 53.
The Mounties will host the Monon Athletic Conference championship Saturday at the Crawfordsville Country Club. Start time is 10 a.m.

Mounties lose to Gophers
Southmont lost at home against Clinton Prairie 3-1 at home on Wednesday.
Game scores were 17-25, 25-13, 14-25, 14-25.
Southmont (3-6) played Thursday at Fountain Central (3-3).

Chargers shutout Hornets
North Montgomery defeated Rossville 4-0 on Wednesday on the Chargers’ home pitch.
The Chargers scored all four goals in the first half.
