Chargers pick up wins
North Montgomery picked up two wins Monday. The Chargers defeated Faith Christian and Fountain Central.
The Chargers carded a 190. Teammates Marlee Reed and Hadlie Horn were co-medalist by firing a 44. Izzy Hamby shot 49 and Chloe Arnold had a 53.
Fountain Central has two golfers this season. Bella Bacon shot a 52 and Lilly Gregory carded a 53.
The Chargers play host Wednesday to Lebanon at Rocky Ridge Golf Club.
GIRLS SOCCER
Athenians rout S. Vermillion
Crawfordsville dominated South Vermillion on Monday with a 9-0 win.
The visitors did not allow one shot on goal the entire contest.
Scoring for Crawfordsville were Inga Freeze with four scores; Alea Seward scored three goals; and Gabriella Saidien and Mila Greene each had one goal.
Crawfordsville (3-2) will play host Wednesday to Lebanon (4-2-1).

Athenians take down Wildcats
Not to be outdone by the Athenian girls team, the Crawfordsville boys beat South Vermillion by an identical score of 9-0.
Crawfordsville scored six times in the first half.
No individual statistics were reported.
The Athenians (5-1) played host Tuesday to Covington (1-3-1).
VOLLEYBALL
Crawfordsville loses to Tigers
Crawfordsville traveled Monday to Lebanon and lost 3-0.
Set scores were 8-25, 20-25 and 13-25.
Athenian Reese Price had 13 blocks; Alexis Ratcliff recorded 17 digs; and Sydney Elizondo had 21 assists.
Crawfordsville (4-4, 0-1 MAC) played Tuesday at Monon Athletic Conference foe Cascade (5-2, 0-0 MAC).
