Robert “Bob” Wayne Blaydes, 83, of Crawfordsville passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Heritage Healthcare, Lafayette.
He was born Oct. 24, 1936, at Greencastle, to the late Kenneth and Ruby (Gooch) Blaydes.
Robert was a 1954 graduate of Bainbridge High School. He retired from RR Donnelley and also from Walmart. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed traveling in the United States including several trips to Hawaii as well as trips abroad. He considered it a privilege to be part of a team on a Missionary trip to Honduras.
He is survived by one brother, Gerald (Kae) Blaydes; two sisters, Glenna Crispin and Donna (Ron) Riggen; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Linden Community Church.
A celebration of life for Robert will be held at a later date.
