Members of the Turkey Run Elementary Student Lighthouse Team recently held a PAW-ty in honor of Finley’s birthday. Finley is the school’s service dog. TRES students and staff donated items such as pet food, treats and toys, cat litter, paper towels and dish soap. As a part of this activity, members delivered the items to the Parke- Vermillion Co. Humane Society. While there, they were able to visit with the pets. Bethany Tidwell’s class donated the most items. There were 245 items collected. The first grade students enjoyed having Finley spend some in their classroom as a thank you for their donations.
