Girl Scouts of Central Indiana has awarded Elizabeth Nunan, daughter of Seth and Jennifer Nunan, and Hope Taylor, daughter of Patrick and Ann Taylor, the Girl Scout Silver Award for updating the Crawfordsville High School Outdoor Classroom.

Originally built by Henry Taylor for his Eagle Project in 2020, the girls repaired a broken bench, built a lectern with a dry-erase board, made a sign-up calendar and signage, and put a supply box with dry erase markers and bug spray in the teacher’s workroom.

The Silver Award is the highest award that a Cadette Girl Scout can achieve and the second highest award in Girl Scouting. Only 10% of Girl Scouts earn the Silver Award. Nunan and Taylor are members of Girl Scout Troop 57078.
