Trent Smaltz, Vice President/Chief Lending Officer at HHSB, is celebrating 20 years at the bank.
Smaltz is a 28-year banking veteran. He began his career with Hoosier Heartland State Bank in 2004 as Director of Business Development before being promoted to Vice President/Chief Lending Officer. He currently serves on the Executive Committee. Prior to working for HHSB, he worked as a Commercial Lender for Isabella Bank and Trust in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and served on the Michigan Bankers Association board of directors. Smaltz is a graduate of Central Michigan University, Robert Perry School of Banking and the Paul W. Barret Jr. Graduate School of Banking at Christian Brothers University.

Smaltz and his wife Cindy have been married for 27 years. They reside in Ladoga and have three children.
Smaltz enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time with family, and listening to music. He also serves as a member on the MCCF Grant Committee.
