MONTGOMERY COUNTY — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces State Road 47 will close on or after July 6 in two places in Montgomery County.
The first closure will take place just south of C.R. 300S to replace a small structure. This is a 62-day closure and is scheduled to last through Sept. 3.
The second closure will take place on S.R. 47 on the bridge over Karnes Creek, located nearly three miles north of S.R. 234 just north of C.R. 550S. This will be for an arch reconstruction on this bridge. This is a 103-day closure and is scheduled to last through Oct. 16.
White Construction Co. was awarded the $1.4 million contract.
