BOONE COUNTY — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a small structure replacement project begins on or after Monday on State Road 47 in Boone County. The closure on S.R. 47 over Buntin Ditch is located east of S.R. 39 between North Victor Road and Elm Swamp Road.
The detour follows S.R. 39 to S.R. 38 to U.S. 421 and back.
Rieth-Riley Construction Co. was awarded the $1.4 million contract. The roadway is scheduled to reopen on Sept. 11. This project also includes work on the U.S. 52 small structure located just over one mile east of S.R. 28.
