Crawfordsville Kiwanis members are planning the club’s 45th annual Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Montgomery County 4-H Building, 400 Parke Ave.

Shoppers can stock up on early holiday gifts from a variety of vendors selling crafts, jewelry, honey, cosmetics, collectibles and more. All proceeds go to help children in need in Montgomery County and to support Riley Children’s Hospital at Indianapolis.

There will also be an Antique Car Show from

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hose Elementary School parking. Organizers say there will be a great showing of vintage vehicles for everyone to enjoy. And, as always Kiwanis will be selling hot dogs, coney dogs, sloppy joe sandwiches, chili, assorted pieces of homemade pies and other sweets.

The club also will sponsor the second annual gingerbread building contest for fifth graders throughout Montgomery County. Entries this year will include representatives from Abilities Services Inc. Visitors can vote on the gingerbread buildings by dropping their donations into the cans by each display. The winning class or organization will receive a pizza party. The remainder of the funds will be donated to the Alternative School Project of the Youth Service Bureau.

Organizers encourage you to stop by the 4-H building, get started on your holiday shopping and have lunch or dinner — all for a good cause.
