The Journal Review confirmed on Wednesday that Stock + Field, a midwest based farm and outdoor retailer, will close its Crawfordsville store at the end of March.
Stock + Field, formerly Big R opened in the former Wal-Mart storefront at 1601 S. US 231 in the spring of 2009. It changed names from Big R to Stock + Field in July 2019.
Big R, a retailer that opened its first store in Watseka, Illinois, in 1964 has grown to 25 stores across Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. It is uncertain at this time if other stores will be closed.
