Tony Max Kashon, 82, formerly of Crawfordsville, passed Jan. 29, 2023, in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Tony was born April 14, 1940, at Mecca, to Oscar and Bessie Kashon. After graduating from Mecca High School in 1958 he moved to Crawfordsville and worked at RR Donnelley & Sons until his retirement in 2002. During his retirement he worked for Wabash College in the art department. His hobbies included gardening, woodworking and carving. Tony was also known affectionately as NONNO the clown at festivals, parades, and parties for many years before retiring his beloved persona.

He married Nancy (Kyle) Kashon on June, 9, 1962, who preceded him in death on June 18, 2008. He will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife in Oak Hill Cemetery, Crawfordsville.

He is survived by four sons, Troy (Vicki) Kashon of Aurora, Colorado, Michael Kashon of Morgantown, West Virginia, Randall (Jamie) Kashon of Chandler, Texas, and Nicholas (Sharon) Kashon of Apollo Beach, Florida; 13 grandchildren, Amie, Bryan, Morgan, Lucas, Tony, Beth Ann, Christian, Tasha, Tayler, Free, Ashley, Hunter and Haze; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and a sister.

Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery when arrangements can be finalized.
