Trudy Lee Kennedy, 70, of Roachdale passed away Friday, May 1, 2020, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 27, 1949, at Crawfordsville, to the late William Earl and Barbara Jane (Wendling) Etcheson Jr.
Trudy graduated from Roachdale High School. She then attended Indiana University, and later St. Mary of the Woods, where she graduated with her bachelor’s degree. She was a member of Central Union Church in Hawaii.
Trudy began her working career selling real estate in Hawaii before moving back home to Roachdale where she worked for TDS for many years until retiring. She enjoyed shopping, games, reading and music.
She is survived by her two children, James Kennedy III, Indianapolis, and Sarah (Charles) Jordan, Coatsville; seven grandchildren; siblings, Toni (Sam) Lasley, Tracy (Tom) West and Trey (Kelly) Etcheson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to say a special thank you to her care givers, friends and neighbors in the Roachdale community that have helped her over the years.
Per her request, there will be no services. Her ashes will be scattered in her favorite place, the beautiful island of O’ahu. Servies & Morgan Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
