FOUNTAIN COUNTY -— The Indiana Department of Transportation announces U.S. 136 nearly two miles west of Waynetown will close on or after May 10 to replace the bridge over the East Fork of Coal Creek. The official detour follows S.R. 341 to S.R. 32 to S.R. 25 and back. This is scheduled to be completed by July 28.
State Road 234 will close on or after May 10 one and one half of one mile east of U.S. 41 to replace a small structure. The official detour follows S.R. 341 to S.R. 32 to U.S. 41 and back. This is scheduled to be completed by June 23.
Milestone Contractors, L.P. was awarded the $2.7 million contract.
