Chargers victorious over Mustangs in pool

Saturday morning North Montgomery hosted Fountain Central and came away with 93-76 to improve to 2-1 on the season.

Maggie Michael, Annabel Anderson, Brookllyn Kerns, Sydnee Turner, and Kayla Sankey were all victorious for the Chargers. 

North Montgomery will travel to Western Boone Tuesday night while the Mustangs will travel to Crawfordsville for the Athenians season opener. 

Wrestling

Charger wrestlers compete at Parke Heritage Inv.

North Montgomery wrestling opened their season at the Parke Heritage Invite and took home a 3-2 record. 

The Chargers picked up wins against Eminence, North Vermillion, and Western Boone. 

The Chargers travel to Fountain Central Tuesday. 

Mustangs open season at Rossville

Fountain Central opened their season at the Rossville Invite and ended the day with a 3-2 record. 

The Mustangs picked up wins over Northfield, Rossville, and Indiana School for the Deaf.

Girls Basketball

Mustangs get back into win column

Fountain Central girls basketball got back in to the win column Saturday afternoon as the Mustangs defeated South Newton 45-19. 

Jerzi Hershberger led the Mustangs with 18 points, 7 steals, and 6 assists

The Mustangs improve to 3-5 with the win and will travel to take on North Montgomery Tuesday night.
