William Franklin “Frank” Stone of Waynetown passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. He was 62.
Born Sept. 17, 1959 , at Clinton, he was the son of William Francis and Martha Viola (Coonse) Stone.
Frank worked for Sodexo Campus Services at Wabash College for 27 years. He had a passion for cars, whether it was working on them or going to car shows. He was a kind-hearted soul, loved by many, and had a contagious laugh.
Surviving family members include: daughter Danielle (J.R. Saulmon III) Stone of Crawfordsville; brother William Charles (Marsha) Stone; grandchildren, Viola and Temperance Saulmon; nephews and nieces, Krista (Frank) Glauner, Chad Stone and Michelle Stephenson; great-nieces, Nikki, Kathryn and Rebecca; as well as many others who called him uncle.
Visitation will be 3-4 p.m. Sunday, July 31 at Burkhart Funeral Home. Services will follow at 4 p.m.
