Position statement 1:

• What specific experiences and skills qualify you to be a council member? I run a small business where budgets and priorities have to be made and enacted. Our business is one that serves people of all backgrounds. My disaster response experiences have allowed me to make decisions in a high pressure environment. As a former office holder I have been through the budget process, and as coroner always made rulings based on the facts of the case.

Position statement 2:

• What are your top priorities as a council member if you are elected? The Council is responsible for making sure budgets are set and adhered to. We need to make sure money is well spent on things that will maintain the safety and quality of life of the taxpayers.

Position statement 3:

• What actions can the council take to create a budget to better utilize taxpayer money? Make sure the county budget is within the means of the county while allowing improvements of infrastructure as needed. Maintaining public safety is important as well.

Position statement 4:

• What can Crawfordsville and Montgomery County do to encourage businesses to locate here? We need to make sure the county does not put obstacles in the way of anyone that wants to open or locate a business in Montgomery County. We have much to offer as a community and our county government should be as welcoming as we can.

Position statement 5:

• What is the greatest concern that you hear from local citizens? Infrastructure (roads) always seems to be a top concern, we have had many improved recently.
