Anita Byers, director of the Women's Crisis Center, spoke to the Crawfordsville Rotary Club at their noon meeting. Byers has been working for the center for 18 years. It has been helping the community for 44 years. In 1979, the Family Crisis Shelter opened to provide another avenue for help to those in need. A staff of 10 people work at the center, volunteers are needed. Byers reminded the Rotarians to "care enough to know what is going on around you."
