Charles “Pat” Clahan, 64, of Russellville passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, at home, while surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Jan.13, 1956, at Crawfordsville, to the late Paul David and Frankie June (McMasters) Clahan.

Pat attended South Montgomery High School and on July 17, 1976, he married the love of his life, Rebecca Jane Boller. Throughout the years he worked at Mid States Steel & Wire in Crawfordsville for over 20 years and after retiring he started his own businesses, C&H Dirt Work, the C&H Pallett Company, and even got into the honey bee business. He loved the outdoors and mowed for the town of Russellville and two local cemeteries. He loved fishing and loved it so much he always wanted to become a professional fisherman. He loved meeting people, never knew a stranger, and was always the life of the party. He loved spending time with family, always joking and laughing; especially with his grandchildren, who nicknamed him “Stinky.” He was recently saved and accepted the Lord as his Savior.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Becky Clahan; three daughters, Miranda Eberwein, Kristin (Justin) Judy and Asa Clahan; two sisters, Vicki Baker and Kelly (Lou) Raineri; brother Terry Clahan; six grandchildren, Makayla, Braylon and Brielle Eberwein, Corbin and Brinley Judy and August Clahan; two great-grandchildren, Ava Eberwein and Hailey Cook; mother-in-law Ann Boller; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Maggie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Mike Clahan; and father-in-law Chuck Boller.
