Clara Christine (Molenaar) Christy, 51, of Hillsboro passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021, at home.
She was born June 12, 1969, a tHammond, to the late Roland J. Molenaar and Carolyn Sue (Clouse) Hardin.
Clara attended Fountain Central High School and throughout the years she worked at the book binding factory in Darlington and at several restaurants. She was fun loving, loved to have a good time, enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, listening to music, shopping, and loved spending time with her friends at the Moose Lodge.
She is survived by husband Bob Christy; step-father Herbert Hardin; three brothers, Roland (Ashley) Molenaar, Ron (Donna) Hardin and Terry Hardin Sr.; sister Phyllis Poe; step-children, Rebecca and Barbie Christy; nieces and nephews, Alysha, Brandon, Elizabeth, Lillian, Josh, Terry, Frankie, Jeremy, DJ, Ricky, Sam, Hayley and Trey; many great-nieces and nephews; and close friends, Dennis McManomy, Joseph Dark and Traci Hargrove.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Marie Bachman and Cindy Hardin.
Cremation was chosen with a celebration of life planned at a later date.
