Claude Earl Tibbett, 68, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, at the VA Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born March 21, 1952, at Crawfordsville, to Wayne and Hazel (Lister) Tibbett. Claude attend schools in Parke County and enlisted in the Army.
Claude was one of nine children: brothers, Bill (Barb) and Kenny (Sue), both of Lafayette, H. Dean (Sharon) of Crawfordsville, John of Kempton and Roger of North Port, Florida; and sisters, Joyce (Roy) Lamb of Lafayette and Kay (Richard) Neal of Murphy, North Carolina. He also is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins and long-time friend Mary Cain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Sharon; and grandparents, William and Nora Lister and Curtis and Bessie (Reed) Tibbett.
Claude requested cremation and will be buried at Oak Hill Cemetery. Our thanks to Hunt & Son Funeral Home for the arrangements. Family and friends will be at the grave site Aug. 17 with military rites.
