Donald Money, 91, of Crawfordsville passed away Monday, June 6, 2022, at his home.
He was born Jan. 19, 1931, to Austin Sr. and Erma (Courtney) Money.
Donald attended Crawfordsville High School and proudly served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953 during the Korean War. He married Nancy Gilliland Newton on June 12, 1983; she survives.
Donald was a member of the Lutheran Church for over 39 years. He worked at Wabash College as a security officer. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, IU Basketball, camping and bicycling.
Donald is survived by his wife, Nancy; son Mark (Janee) Money of Crawfordsville; daughter Tina Money of Tucson, Arizona; four step-children, Bill Newton, Jessica Came, Patti Henderson and Robert Newton; sister Betty McKinney; brother Charles (Nancy) Money; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by son Roger Money; step-daughter, Terri Henderson; step-grandson, Troy Long; brother Austin Money; and sister Cheryl Lynn Money;
There will be a private graveside service. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Avenue. Sanders Priebe Funeral Care is entrusted with care.
