Kathryn Morrison passed away Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home. She was 92 years old.
Kathryn worked many years for the Christian Book Store in Crawfordsville and retired from there.
She was born April 9, 1928, at Frankfort, to Clyde O. and May Belle (Akins) Marshall.
Kathryn graduated from Waveland High School in 1946, second in her class. She married William (Bill) Morrison on Dec. 28, 1947.
Survivors include: daughters, Carolyn Morrison of Crawfordsville and Deborah Morrison Snyder of Waynetown; two grandsons, Lance Snyder of Waynetown and Kyle Snyder of Indianapolis; two great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and brother Richard Marshall of Crawfordsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother Harry; and grandson Keith Snyder.
Kathryn was a Christian and attended the First Church of God, Crawfordsville. She held many offices over the year, one was church treasurer for 31 years, played the piano for 50 years and belonged to the W.C.G. ladies group helping missionaries. She helped support Children of Promise in Africa. Katie loved to read and travel, her favorite was the Holy Land.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Chuck Callahan officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery North. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
