I am not one to typically publicly voice my opinions on political candidates but after finding a commissioner who listened and cared for my small community, I had no choice but to speak up on behalf of John Frey.
Frey has proved to me he cares about this county and he listens.
In the spring of 2019 in Mace, we had an issue with our drainage system, which created standing water. Not only was this a nuisance, but it was creating a public health issue because of mosquitoes.
To make matters worse, we had been told for years that there was nothing that could be done. Finally, I had had enough and contacted Frey.
Frey quickly addressed our issue. A drainage board meeting was held with all residents of Mace invited to attend. Research was completed and a plan was put in motion to correct the water issues in Mace.
None of this would have happened without the help of Frey.
While I no longer live in Mace, I still genuinely care about the community where I raised my children and that was home to our grandchildren for nearly 15 years.
Frey is a man who is taking care of business and has a vision for this county — that is the kind of person we need as commissioner.
I have already submitted my vote for Frey, and I ask that no matter how you vote this year, you vote Frey for county commissioner.
