Taylor, Chadd, Minnette, Schneider & Clutter Law is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Covington.
Attorney Kent Minnette, a proud Covington Trojan fan from the class of ’89, looks forward to giving back to his hometown community.
“We are thrilled to be in Covington,” said Kent Minnette, partner at TCMSC. “It allows us to better serve our clients in Fountain, Warren and Vermillion counties. For me personally, it is a chance to give back to the community in which I grew up.”
Law is in the Minnette genes. Minnette’s grandfather and great-grandfather practiced law in Fountain County for many years. Minnette has served as the Fountain County Attorney since 2019 and is newly appointed to serve as attorney for Attica schools. Minnette’s sister, Erin Minnette Gerling is a paralegal in the office. She is looking forward to working with her brother and the entire team.
“I have a passion to help people and make them feel comfortable,” Gerling said. “Needing an attorney can be intimidating and I want to help people feel comfortable. Our firm motto is Altogether. Altogether better. The entire team lives that motto every day and they care about the communities in which they serve. It really is a special group of people and I am proud to be a part of the team.”
The attorneys in the Covington office include Minnette, Darren Chadd, Tyler Nichols and Ethan Myers. Their areas of practice include estate planning and administration, criminal defense, family law, business law, agricultural law (cash rent leases, 1031 exchanges, family succession planning).
