PERI McCLASKEY

I am a student at St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. I have lived in Montgomery County for 19 years.

In my spare time, I love to hang out with friends and show pigs.

The songs that always makes me get up and dance or sing are “Nokia” by Drake and “Ice Ice Baby” by Vanilla Ice.

I was very excited to be asked to be a Star.

I decided to participate in the YSB fundraiser to raise money and advocate for this organization.

The public should come support my partner and me because Dancing with the Montgomery County Stars will provide good entertainment while raising money for a great cause.

GEORGIA TAYLOR

I am a dance instructor at Crawfordsville Academy of Dance and a barista at Joshua Cup. I have lived in Montgomery County for 22 years.

I have danced at Crawfordsville Academy of Dance studying ballet, jazz, modern and tap for 20 years, and have been teaching classes for six years. My favorite genre of music to dance to is probably alternative. I love dramatic music with powerful beats.

I participate in the YSB fundraiser because I love being able to use my dance background, which started out as a hobby and has turned into a career, to help kids in need in my own community. It is amazing and incredibly humbling how God has gifted me a passion for dance, and put people like Cindy Whittle, Stefanie Deato and Jane Christophersen to encourage me and help me grow and lead me to this DWTS stage.

This is arguably the most exciting and fun event you can attend annually in our county. You get to dress to the nines, participate in multiple auctions of which the proceeds go to the YSB, be entertained by our Pros and Stars dancing as well as local dance studios, all the while raising money for the kids in our community who are in need of mental health, food and love.
