Rita Ann (Pruitt) Guffey, 69, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Woodland Hills Care Center, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Rita was a homemaker and loved to sew, quilt and craft.
She was born in July 21, 1951, at Crawfordsville, to the late Martin Pruitt and Jo Ann (Steele) Pruitt.
On June 26, 1976, Rita married William Robert Guffey. He survives.
Rita also is survived by son William D. (Samantha) Guffey; brothers, Richard Pruitt and Bob Pruitt; and sister Sue Foy.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends may call 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 25 at Voss & Sons Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
