The Tri Kappa Art Show featuring student artwork from Crawfordsville High School, North Montgomery High School and Southmont High School has been sponsored by the Crawfordsville Delta Omicron Tri Kappa Chapter for more than 30 years. We could not do this without all of our amazing art teachers and their students.
Tri Kappa received 193 entries from 159 very talented student artists. Their work was displayed in the Crawfordsville District Public Library Mary Bishop Memorial Gallery from Feb. 10 through March 15.
This year’s judge was Annie Strader, Wabash College Associate Professor of Art and Department Chair. Cash prizes totaling $1,410 were awarded to 50 student artists.
Best of Show Prize was awarded to Elli Jeffries for her mixed media artwork, “The Great Garbage Patch Reef.” She is a senior at Crawfordsville High School.
Tri Kappa Choice Prize was awarded to Adah Westphal for her painting “Self-Portrait.” She is a junior at Crawfordsville High School.
