The Linden Carnegie Public Library just wrapped up its 10-month-long “Art for Everyone” series of art classes made possible with a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission.
The IAC is an agency of state government that works with communities and organizations to harness the power of creativity to strengthen Indiana.
Participants were able to sign up for classes varying from watercolors, pottery, fused glass, photography for kids, basket weaving, paper beads, acrylic pour, and paint on canvas.
These classes were completely free of charge for participants; grant money covers supplies and artist fees. The library staff is so grateful for the opportunity to provide these classes, and enjoys seeing all of the creativity that they produced.
