Members of the Turkey Run Elementary School Student Lighthouse Team recently held a food drive. On April 1, the group delivered these items to the Sugar Creek Resource Center, which is a food pantry located next to the school. Many boxes of food and hygiene items were donated thanks to the generosity of TRES families. The students were then able to assist with sorting and shelving the donated items. SCRC provides food and hygiene items to local families on Thursday afternoons from 4-6 p.m. Delivering the items to Sugar Creek Resource Center were front row, Nolan Mayes, Natalia Brown, Liara White, Mack Newnum, Makenna Hart, Luke Davies, Evie Mundell and Charlotte Rice; and back row, Kara Burgess, Jill Ferguson, Eli White and Jake Sauter.
