Jamestown man faces child porn charges

The Boone County Child Abuse and Sexual Exploitation Task Force received a CyberTipLine

Report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children by the Indiana State Police. Upon initial investigation, it was found that Travis Long of Jamestown was in possession of child sexual abuse material.

On Thursday, C.A.S.E. Task Force along with assisting law enforcement agencies served a search warrant on Long’s residence in Jamestown. At the completion of the investigation, Long was arrested and booked into the Boone County Jail pending charges of three counts of child exploitation a level 4 felony and five counts of possession of child pornography a level 5 felony.

Agencies assisting included: Boone County Prosecutor’s Office, Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Whitestown Police Department, Zionsville Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Crawfordsville Police Department, Frankfort Police Department, Avon Police Department and Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
