Michael S. McAllister, 52, of Greencastle passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, at his home.
Michael was born Nov. 12, 1971, at Greencastle, to the late W. Thomas McAllister and Georgia M. (Nichols) McAllister.
Michael was a 1990 graduate of South Putnam High School and attended ISU. He worked at IAC in quality control and most recently worked at Banjo Inc. in Crawfordsville.
Michael enjoyed reading comic books, was a big fan of Star Trek and D.C. Comic movies. He also enjoyed working on his own vehicles. He loved spending time with his family. His grandchildren were everything to him. He was an avid animal lover too. They had a dog and three cats.
On Oct. 12, 2019, Michael married Michelle M. Sharp.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Michelle M. McAllister; daughter Ashley N. Holt (Max); grandchildren, Hailey and Emmy Holt; brother Grant McAllister (Kristina); sister Kimberly McAllister; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by both of his parents.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13 at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale. Bob Vice will officiate. Burial will follow in Ladoga Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until service time at the funeral home.
