North school board celebrates employee milestones

LINDEN — North Montgomery School Board used its regular monthly meeting to celebrate employees who are retiring and those with employment anniversaries. The celebration took place in the foyer of the high school with friends and families present.

Retirees include a total of 116 years of service. Those ending their careers are Superintendent Dr. Colleen Moran, Corporation Administrative Assistant Jean Mull, Corporation Deputy Treasurer Delinda Wilkins and Business Manager Glenda Nice.

Wilkins celebrated 40 years as a corporation employee. Moran is concluding her 25th year.

Employees celebrating 25 years of service are John Galloway, Joy Jarvis, Nancy Bell and Craig Reich.

Celebrating 20-year employment anniversaries are Emily Brooks, Amanda Chastain, Ashley Kight, Carrie Woolwine, Daniel Martin, Julie Hodges, Elise Israel and Ceanna McCoy.

The board approved the 2026-27 school calendar and approved moving funds from the operations fund to the health insurance self-fund.

Roof and gutter replacement at the central office also received approval.

The board agreed to transfers within the Central Office. Dr. Anthony Tharp transferred to the superintendent position and Brittany Madden will be the new NMCSC administrative assistant.
