The Crawfordsville Board of Public Works and Safety approved an agreement Wednesday related to repairs at the Milligan Park Pool.

The board approved an agreement between the city and Buddenbaum and Moore LLC to paint the pool during the current repair work at a cost of $42,750.

Fawn Johnson, director of parks and recreation, said she anticipates the pool will open June 11, weather permitting.

The board also approved a request from Selene Gutierrez to reserve two parking spaces during the Strawberry Festival from June 12-14 to operate the K-Fresa food tent.

The board approved three work orders presented by Barry Lewis, the city’s code enforcement officer. One order authorized tree removal services through Crawfordsville Property Services for a tree at 209 E. Jefferson St. at a cost of $2,200.

The remaining work orders authorized mowing services at 1146 W. Country Club Road, owned by Regimental Properties and 1000 E. Market St., owned by Way to Go Management Co.
