Radio station to broadcast football games

Dave Peach, the general manager for the radio stations in Crawfordsville, announced an extensive lineup of local high school football coverage for the 2026 season on WIMC and WCDQ.

Beginning today, WIMC and WCDQ will broadcast high school football games every Friday night throughout the season. Coverage will feature the Crawfordsville Athenians, North Montgomery Chargers, and Southmont Mounties as they compete in the Monon Athletic Conference.

“High school sports bring our community together, and we look forward to once again telling the stories of our local student athletes,” Peach said. “Local sports coverage is part of our DNA at Crawfordsville Radio. Everyone in the building is dedicated to providing the best coverage we possibly can.”

The stations’ coverage team will include Sports Director Jeff Nelson, along with Bob Cox, Brett Cating, Barry Lewis, Rob Hinckley, Tom Perkins, Landon Coons and Deontae Peete. Together, the team will provide play-by-play, analysis and community-focused storytelling throughout the football season.
