Stanley Alan Anderson, 62, formerly of Crawfordsville, died April 29, 2020, in hospice following a major stroke at home in Worth, Illinois.
At his request, he chose to be an organ donor, and a memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
Stan was born Sept. 21, 1957, at Crawfordsville, to Floyd and Marianne Anderson. He graduated from Purdue University and remained a faithful Purdue fan throughout his life, Boiler Up!
He worked for DB Schenker in West Chicago as an operations manager for 25 years. He was married to Kristy McGregor for 26 years.
He is survived by his two sons, Adam, 32, and Alec, 26; two sisters, Tammy Martin and Wendy Anderson; and brother Rev. Randal Anderson.
A charitable donation may be made in Stan’s honor to “beyondthewalls.org” where 100% goes to build homes for underprivileged families in Guatalmala.
